Summer School Registration will Start on June 4th

The 2018 Kearsley Summer School is scheduled from Monday, June 25th - Friday, July 20th.  Students may register for either one or two courses, and the cost is $100 per course.  While registration/enrollment is open to current 8th - 12th grade students, please note that only current 9th - 12th graders have the ability to earn high school credit (each course is worth a half credit).  The purpose of 8th grader enrollment is to better prepare students for high school success.  Courses will meet every day from 7:50 AM - 10:50 AM and/or from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM.  Registration for Summer School will start on Monday, June 4th (in the KHS Counseling Office, Room 111) and continue through Wednesday, June 20th.  For additional details, please click on the link below.

Attention Class of 2018:  Apply for your Genesee Opportunity Stipend (Scholarship) NOW!

2018 Genesee County high school soon-to-be graduates can now officially apply for the Genesee Opportunity Stipend (scholarship).  High school graduates who live in and attend high school in Genesee County are eligible to receive the Genesee Opportunity Stipend! The stipend can be used toward costs to attend approved colleges and training institutions. Opportunity for Class of 2019 to Visit & Tour U of M - Flint

The University of Michigan - Flint will be hosting a couple Summer Visits/Tours for members of the Class of 2019 who are interested in potentially attending U of M - Flint after graduating from KHS.  The visits/tours are scheduled from 10AM - 2PM on Thursday, June 21st and Wednesday, August 8th.  Interested students can RSVP at go.umflint.edu/summer.

Tutoring Assistance at KHS on Tuesdays and Thursdays!

The KHS National Honor Society (NHS) members will be available to tutor KHS students on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM starting SOON.  The tutoring will take place in Room 107 (Career Center), and no pre-registration is necessary.  This is a great opportunity for students who need extra help!  Please contact Mrs. Colleen Grathoff (NHS Advisor) at 810-591-5317 if you have any questions.
