2017 Summer School Information Available
Registration for Summer School will occur from June 5th - June 16th in the KHS Counseling Office (Room 111).  The cost (due at sign-up) will be $100 per semester class (students may register for up to two classes), and the classes will meet from Monday, June 19th - Friday, July 14th.  For more information, please see the attached brochure:

Attention Class of 2017:  Apply for your Genesee Opportunity Stipend NOW!
2017 Genesee County high school graduates can begin applying for the Genesee Opportunity stipend on March 27, 2017. High school graduates who lived in and attended high school in Genesee County are eligible to receive the Genesee Opportunity Stipend! The stipend can be used toward costs to attend approved colleges and training institutions. ...Another Scholarship Possibility for Class of 2017 (Seniors) and Class of 2018 (Juniors)
Now is the time to apply for the second annual Kelsey’s Law Distracted Driving Awareness Scholarship for Michigan high school juniors and seniors.  The details of the scholarship are included here:
A total of $5,000 in college scholarships will be awarded in October 2017 (among 4 winning student submissions throughout the state).  The deadline is August 31st.  

Great Chance for Juniors to Visit MSU in July 2017! 
Green and White Days at MSU are their largest open house programs of the year. Students get to design their own schedule to maximize their interests across campus...from admissions presentations, to exclusive access inside academic buildings and athletic facilities. Student organizations, campus resources and regional admissions counselors are all available to answer questions. Green and White Days repeat daily on July 21 and 24-28, with programs starting at 9 a.m. and concluding by 4 p.m.  Registration is available online at

Tutoring Assistance at KHS on Tuesdays and Thursdays!

The KHS National Honor Society (NHS) members will be available to tutor KHS students on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM starting on Tuesday, October 4th.  The tutoring will take place in Room 107 (Career Center), and no pre-registration is necessary.  This is a great opportunity for students who need extra help!  Please contact Mrs. Colleen Grathoff (NHS Advisor) at 810-591-5317 if you have any questions.
