7th Hour Registration is NOW through February 16th 

The next 7th Hour sessions will run from February 20th - May 18th, and registration for those sessions will start on Tuesday, January 30th.  Students may register for either one or two courses, and each course is worth a half credit.  Registration occurs in the KHS Counseling Office (with Mrs. Jenkins), and students/parents are required to make payment when completing/submitting the registration form.  Please see the PDF link below for all relevant details.

2018 Kearsley Scholarship Application Available for Seniors! 

The Application for Kearsley Scholarships is NOW available online (click on link below) or in the Counseling Office.  March 5th is the DEADLINE to apply for Kearsley Scholarships.  There are 18 different scholarships that will be awarded to graduating Kearsley Seniors.  Don’t miss out on this opportunity!  Finally, if you plan on applying, please give advanced notice to the 2 people who you will be asking to write letters of recommendation for you.

Attention Class of 2017:  Apply for your Genesee Opportunity Stipend NOW!

2017 Genesee County high school graduates can begin applying for the Genesee Opportunity stipend on March 27, 2017. (Class of 2018 may apply for the Genesee Opportunity stipend starting in April 2018!) High school graduates who lived in and attended high school in Genesee County are eligible to receive the Genesee Opportunity Stipend! The stipend can be used toward costs to attend approved colleges and training institutions. Tutoring Assistance at KHS on Tuesdays and Thursdays!

The KHS National Honor Society (NHS) members will be available to tutor KHS students on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM starting SOON.  The tutoring will take place in Room 107 (Career Center), and no pre-registration is necessary.  This is a great opportunity for students who need extra help!  Please contact Mrs. Colleen Grathoff (NHS Advisor) at 810-591-5317 if you have any questions.
