University of Michigan - RAHS Health Center

A free health clinic is available for all students and Kearsley residents at Kearsley High School 4302 Underhill Drive, Flint, MI 48506. The clinic provides health and mental health services and is open Monday-Friday. For more information, or to set an appointment please call: (810) 591-5330.

Michigan 2-1-1: An Easy Way to Get Help!

Michigan 2-1-1 connects people with agencies/organizations that provide food, clothing, education, counseling, health care, shelter, support groups, employment, legal aid, public safety, utility assistance, transportation, mental health services, and more!

To contact Michigan 2-1-1 (24 hours a day, 7 days a week), dial 2-1-1 or visit the Michigan 211 website.  If calling, a referral specialist will then:

  1. Assess your situation
  2. Find answers to your questions
  3. Help you locate services


Kearsley Community Closet

The Kearsley Community Closet offers used clothing for families in the Kearsley School District.  Sizes available include infants through elementary school students.  The Kearsley Community Closet is located at The Pumpkin Patch Child Development Center at 4235 Crosby Rd., Flint.

Student Council Students from Kearsley High School have set up a clothing resource closet for Middle School through High School students. The secondary branch of the Kearsley Clothing Closet is located at: Kearsley High School 4302 Underhill Drive, Flint, MI 48506.

Low cost, quality, dental hygiene services offered
at Mott Community College

Low cost, quality dental hygiene services are available to the public at Mott’s Dental Hygiene Clinic located on the 2nd floor of the Mott Memorial Building. Dental hygiene students provide these services under close faculty supervision by licensed Dentists and Dental Hygienists. To schedule an appointment, please call (810) 762-0493.

  • Comprehensive Dental Hygiene Care includes:

    • Complete prophylaxis (teeth cleaning)

    • Fluoride Treatment

    • Nutritional Assessment

    • Oral Screening

    • Periodontal Evaluation

    • Smoking Cessation

Referrals for vision care assistance

If your school-aged son/daughter is in need of vision care and you are in need of financial assistance to receive that care, please contact your son's/daughter's school counselor so that a referral can be made on your behalf.

Assurance Wireless is a federal Lifeline Assistance program brought to you by Virgin Mobile. Lifeline is a government benefit program supported by the federal Universal Service Fund.

Qualifications: Enrollment is available to individuals who qualify based on federal or state-specific eligibility criteria. You may qualify if you are on certain public assistance programs, like Medicaid or Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). You can also qualify based on your household income.

Affordable internet from Comcast

Healthy Kids is a program that provides a wide range of health care coverage and support services for qualifying pregnant women, babies and children under age 19.
